The Paper Moon - A Salt Lake City Exploration of Art both Past and Present

Ah music, maybe my favorite of the art forms. It speaks more with emotion than words, exists mathematically, and like dance it only exists in time. With The Paper Moon Project we will explore local Salt Lake City Music acts in two ways. I will go and relocate my Paper Moon (it’s portable) at a place that harmoniously fits with the acts aesthetic. The act will then play a cover (something borrowed, something from the past) that inspires them. We will then get to hear something original the talent has created. This is a way to showcase local talent and hear a refashioned version of something inspiring from the past.  Our YouTube channel is where you will be able to hear/watch the performances, and we’ll sit down and interview the artist for our blog and podcast.
